Luke Hines' Block of Darkish Chocolate recipe (excellent for vegans)

  • 220 g cacao butter, melted
  • 250 ml (1 cup) melted coconut oil, plus additional if wanted
  • 250g (2 cups) cacao powder, plus additional if wanted
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or powder
  • 250ml (1 cup) maple syrup, plus additional if wanted

Technique

Step 1.
Line a baking tray or loaf tin with baking paper.

Step 2.
In a saucepan over medium-low warmth, gently stir the cacao butter and coconut oil till effectively mixed.

Step 3.
Take away the pan from the warmth and gently whisk within the cacao energy, vanilla and your sweetener of selection. Hold whisking till thick, creamy and effectively mixed.

Step 4.
